Opening Hours

The salon will temporarily operate extended hours and times for us to be able to catch up with you all as quickly as possible. You must have a pre-booked appointment.

 

Your First Appointment

  • You will be booked in for what you usually have, please let us know if you are requiring a colour correction or restyle.

  • If you have used any chemicals on your hair during the lock down, please inform us prior to your appointment as you WILL REQUIRE A PATCH TEST.

  • Please arrive with dry clean hair regardless of what service you are booked in for..

  • Some services may be removed, in line with government guidelines TBC.

 

On Arrival

  • You will need to ring the bell and wait outside the salon.

  • You will need to wear a mask to enter and wash or hand sanitise your hands, on entry.

  •  You must attend your appointment alone and bring minimum belongings with you. (Wipes will be provided for mobiles.)

  • You will be shown to your seat on arrival.

  • You will then be asked to fill in a short health questionnaire, in line with the government test and trace programme.

 

During Your Appointment

  • All consultations will happen through the mirror to avoid face to face exposure.

  • Other than when we are working on your treatment, we will remain 2 meters apart.

  •  Each client will be provided with a clean gown, towel, face covering and gloves if they wish, on arrival.

  • Stylists will have new PPE, including mask, gloves, apron on for each client. Face visors will be sanitised between clients. Stylists will regularly wash their hand before during and following your appointment.

  • As always, any equipment used will be sanitised immediately.

  • Unfortunately, there will be no refreshments, or magazines during this time. You are welcome to bring your own drink only, in a sealed cup or flask. 

 

Time To Go Home

  • All payment will be taken at the seat/ section, via contact less card/ paypal/ BACS or the right amount of cash.

  • There will be an additional £2 added on to each appointment to support us in covering the additional overheads we now face 😊

  • Re-booking will be recommended, and we can do this for you from your seat.

  • No appointment cards will be given out at this time… we highly recommend you download the FRESHA app where you can view and amend your appointments easily.

Dependants

  • Where it is not possible to attend alone only one adult is permitted per dependant person. (largely in the case of children under 16)

  • Children WILL need to sit alone on the seat for the duration of their appointment

  • Children over the age off 11 will need a face covering, along with the dependant person. 

  • The dependant person will need to step back for the duration of the appointment

  • All other policies will need to be adhered to by both people.

Our Salon

  • We have undertaken a thorough review of the salon and its services.

  • We have rearranged the space to comply with social distancing.

  • Every surface will be cleaned regularly

  • We will ensure adequate ventilation throughout the salon, with windows open always.

  • Floor markings will guide us for social distancing purposes.

 

Our Team

  • All team members are trained to care for our customers in a safe and hygienic manner.

  • Social distancing will always be adhered to, apart from when we are carrying out your treatment.

  • Team members have been briefed to not attend work if they are unwell or presenting any CV-19 symptoms.

Housekeeping

  • We will stagger client’s appointment times where this is not possible.

  • We will greet you warmly but without contact.

  • Waiting areas are closed for now.

  • Refreshments and magazines will not be available for a while.

  • PLEASE CONTACT US AND RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT IF YOU BECOME UNWELL, OR IF ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD IS UNWELL OR SELF-ISOLATING.

  • If you are unsure about whether you can comply to any salon rules, please let us know and we can cancel your appointment.

  • If you have any individual concerns, please contact one of the team and we can talk you through any worries.
